Mounsey Mills, based in Toomevara, is a family-run agri business with a strong local client base. He was especially pleased that his weighbridge now feeds tickets directly into Insight, eliminating errors from manual input. Before, these had to be uploaded manually — now that’s all automated.

Because Herbst Insight is modular, Bob also knows he can add new features, like batch numbers for traceability, as the business grows. He appreciated that traditional accounting packages lacked flexibility, whereas Herbst gave him full control — especially with credit management. He can now send 100+ invoices or statements at once with a single click.

Mounsey Mills operates mainly from its depot in Toomevara. Though some deliveries are outsourced, most customers visit directly. The touchscreen POS module allows Bob to serve them quickly and accurately. Even at busy times, he can respond to multiple queries without delays, thanks to real-time data capture.
